So it's time for Top Billin' Live nights to get going again! This coming friday we have a sick line-up, Verb T & Kashmere with Harry Love on the decks for them. We also have TPS FAM coming down to support.

This night is gonna go off! Get there early as Verb T & Kashmere will be hitting the stage at 10PM. The live night finishes at Midnight at which point the Crisis dj's take over starting with a special set from Blakeatron [BATTLESTATIONS]

Some heavyweight US & UK on this ting, very happy to hear Black Mags remix by Badbonez on here as i've been on that track for a minute now and still loving it. Also a fucking heavy track from Skandal which you can see him doing live at a Top Billin' night here. DJ Thor proves he's a master of his trade and brings Mystro in to host which is always a good thing, they showed that on Vol 1 (which if you ain't copped yet click here).

White Rabbit @ Jack Cham's. This is a lovely lil bar on Ebrington Street in Plymouth and if your in this city you should be checkin it. It has a different thing on every night. Here's the line-up...

We're gonna be open 7 days a week from 2pm 'til 1.30am, and will be entirely staffed by your familiar friendly 'rabbit crew .

Expect White Rabbit resident DJ's, Live acts and ever-increasing range of quality tunes in abundance each night, with warm-up sessions for each of the bigger White Rabbit club nights and events.

To take it to the next level we'll be providing a premium drinks selection, tasteful cocktails and shooters, and some EXCELLENT coffee. ...We might even trust you with a real glass!! ;)

...And we're even getting the kitchen up and running to provide reasonable priced but excellent quality food, and will dedicate half of the menu to all of you Vegetarians/Vegans out there with no where else to go.

So yeah....

Nice little redesign of the blog was done last night, big up to the Top Billin' graphics man ben for that!

So with the re-design I'm hoping to be a lil more active when it comes to this blog ting. Today I'll think I'll start with a quick summary of wha gwan over the last month since my last blog post.

Starting with the Sika Studios tent @ Aeon Festival.....

Well to be honest what can I say about the Sika Stage at Aeon other than oh my fucking god, it was HEAVY!!!! Sika Chris did a top job of keepin shit together and makin sure it ran smoothly, all the acts were fucking live-o!

Got plenty of really good footage which you all can expect to see comin over the next few months, live sets from a few peeps, a campside cipher by the TPS boys, a late-night cipher from the delegates of culture and the S.M.B boys. I am on this shit but we got soooooo much footage to go through its gonna take time!!!

A lil update on Aeon Festival

It's less than 2 weeks away! Who else is going? Who's missing one of the best (if not THE best) UK Hip-Hop line-up I have ever seen?

The Top Billin' boys are preppin hard for this, it's going to be a lot of work and a lot of fun. Looks like we are going to have our own lil interview dome.

If your going to Aeon and see any of us walking around carrying a camera come grab us and and tell us how much you are enjoying the festival!

Now my opinion of this will be slightly biased as Sleaze is the host of Top Billin', BUT this album is sick! I mean with beats from Ghost, Beatbutcher, Endemic, Hey!Zeus, Reklwes and Wizard and with guest mc's like Illmystic, T-Bone, Lee Scott, Super Dertie, Ruffstyles and more, how could this album be anything other than FIRE!

Whether its Sleaze's off-beat flow spitting about what's really going on in the world or his choice in beats and guest mc's that makes you love this album, you will love it!

Welcome to the Top Billin' Blog

Top Billin' is Plymouth's only live hip-hop night. We aim to bring you the best in both UK and US hip-hop (and anywhere else we find some good ish). We hold our events at The White Rabbit . Our 1st night was Ramson Badbonez, Skandal & DJ Gone as part of the 9-5 Tour. It was a night of pure fire! They killed it and put on one of the best hiphop shows Plymouth has seen in a while!
